Most people know the great dance shows like Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
Following the success of these dance shows the popularity of Irish dance is
increasing.
In Venlo there is an opportunity to learn Irish dance.
Dance School Scoil Rince Celtus was founded six years ago and has grown to nearly 30 members,
children as well as adults. A highly motivated and experienced dance teacher, named Sean, founded this school.
He has already more than 30 years experience and has, next to the school in Venlo
three dance schools in the German North Rhine-Westphalia area and a school in
Nuremberg
With his dancers Sean already has achieved commendable results at competitions in
Germany and England, the All Irelands in Dublin,
the European and World Championships in Duisburg and last but not least the Venlo Feis.
In order to support the dance school and make the organization in Venlo work properly, the Foundation CNRC was established. This is the Celtic
translation for “friends of the Celtic dance”.
